Woman Raises Goats to Help Vitalize Rural HometownAugust 10, 2022
Wang Qi, 30, had a stable job in Guangdong Province after graduating from university. In 2019, she decided to return to her hometown Yushan Island, Fuding City, East China's Fujian Province and started her own business raising goats. Now, Wang not only raises goats, but has also set up a hot pot restaurant in downtown Fuding and sold mutton products via livestream platforms. Considering many travelers come to her hometown from Shanghai, Zhejiang and Fujian provinces, Wang plans to expand her business by combining her goat raising industry with rural tourism, launching family trip activities, making a contribution toward rural vitalization.
